CD Designs Research

Here i have been researching on CD cover designs to give myself ideas for when i create my own design for the CD cover and here are four examples of CD Covers.........

Using Phototshop

In the past two days i have been using Photoshop CS4 to create a new picture with using two other pictures and putting them together to create one picture and making sure it looks like that the picture was taken there and then so before you put a picture in another picture you have to make sure that the top ayer picture is all crop and cut down to the size that yourself is happy with and then resize it if there is any need to and then when you are happy with the picture then copy and paste it into the second layer and then hopefully you will have one good picture.

And here is one example of what i have done even though it not my final design but this is what i would be looking to do and hopefully improve it over during the course and make the best that it could be........

Developing Idea's CD Covers

In today lesson i was designing ideas for my CD Cover and in the designs i had to draw about the front cover, the spin of the case, the back and the actual CD itself to give people the idea of what design and style what i m going for, for each design and give them a view on what i am going for in terms of my target audience and what genre the designs would be................

Artefacts Research

In my research on Artefacts i will have to find lots of different styles and categories of artefacts in the way that they're style and how they could be use in modern ways here are a few pictures for examples..................

Batman Movie (1989) Research

Batman movie in 1989 was all base on a DC Comic with the character with the same name director Tim Burton. The film stars Michael Keaton in the title role, as well as Jack Nicholson,Kim Basinger, Robert Wuhl and Jack Palance. As a child, Bruce Wayne (Keaton) saw his parents killed by a young criminal. He vows to avenge their deaths in a lifelong battle against crime as the disguise of Batman while concealing his secret identity, working in the Wayne Enterprises. Years later, Gotham is under control by crime boss Carl Grissom (Palance). Despite the best efforts of newly-elected district attorney Harvey Dent and police commissioner James Gordon, the police department remains corrupted. Reporter Alexander Knox (Wuhl) and photo-journalist Vicki Vale (Basinger) begin investigating the rumors of a shadowy vigilante figure dressed as a bat who has been terrifying criminals throughout the city. When discussing the central theme of Batman, director Tim Burton explained,"the whole film and mythology of the character is a complete duel of the freaks. It's a fight between two disfigured people." He continued, "the Joker is such a great character because there's a complete freedom to him. Any character who operates on the outside of society and is deemed a freak and an outcast then has the freedom to do what they want." Burton believes "they're deemed disgusting. They are the darker sides of freedom. Insanity is in some scary way the most freedom you can have, because you're not bound by the laws of society.

Batman Music Work

Today i have played around with some of the settings and i have mix around with the sound and place them in different places to see if it makes any difference to the credits and if it a better change or a bad change and hopefully during the coursework i would get a better ideas to make my project the best that it could be.
